God’s just one of many. Nobody wants us to stay up.
8 May 2013 at 1:03 am #1124894 wins at home. ..3 goals conceded against a tean without a win in 7.Albeit macmanaman no having a great game but it’s time to close the door on our way out when di santo comes on.A great opportunity blown and of course we have injuries but so does everyone else. No complaints from me we were poor…again.played poor at West brom but luck ran out tonight.

Don’t blame me !!
8 May 2013 at 1:09 am #112493That seems fair. Our luck did run out tonight. Going into a game with a loanee, an injured captain and a left wing back who had never played there says something. Ronnie Stam’s brief cameo says it all. Some of the defensive disasters this year have been truly horrible but with the best aplayers put it might have been very different.

with a fit alcaraz throughout the season, we wouldn’t be where we are now.
but all IFs and BUTs ….

We were very poor, but it must be admitted that we did miss our 4 best defenders tonight, and misfortune in that department will be the ultimate reason why we go down this season – if we do, that is – we pay the price for being a small club with a paper thin squad – no depth to cover. I’m a bit worried about Saturday now – could be embarrassing, based on tonight’s fiasco.

We actually played well, and should have scored more and conceded less.
There are a lot of questions to be asked why we gave away soft goals, but what I saw tonight didn’t fill me with fear for Saturday.
8 May 2013 at 1:32 am #112507Leaking 5 goals in two games dont look good,we looked of the pace int 2nd half.tired legs. ;)
8 May 2013 at 1:36 am #112509what a load of utter shyte that was, many of those on the pitch looked very disinterested and couldn’t be arsed
and some where not good enough to actually be on the pitch
i really feel sorry for those fans going to the final as i feel it could end up being a cricket score after that showing
anyway good luck in the championship next year think you will need it

Don’t bother supporting us when we come straight back up. Oh, hold on, you never have anyway.8 May 2013 at 2:07 am #112536I’m a bit worried about Saturday now – could be embarrassing, based on tonight’s fiasco

Then you need to remove the rose tinted specs and get yourself to Specsavers.
If we defend like tonight against City it will be more embarrasing than Cardiff !!
We were dreadful in the second half.
I do feel sorry for Caldwell. He is whole hearted and tries his best. He’s just isn’t good enough.
As for Di Santo the lazy get shouldn’t be anywhere near the team.
Good riddance in the summer.

yes because if you are not shouting the end is nigh at the top of your voice you are obviously wearing rose tinted specs.
minus a few individual errors we were pretty good overall.
