Sunderland without Cattermole, Fletcher, Sessegnon. They are their best players
Newcastle had horrendous injury problems too
You need a bit of luck with injuries.
I am sure City would have run Utd a lot closer for the League if we hadn’t have lost so many players (especially Aguero and Kompany) to injury.
It makes a difference.
8 May 2013 at 2:35 am #112569koI’m a bit worried about Saturday now – could be embarrassing, based on tonight’s fiasco
but what I saw tonight didn’t fill me with fear for Saturday.
Then you need to remove the rose tinted specs and get yourself to Specsavers.

yes because if you are not shouting the end is nigh at the top of your voice you are obviously wearing rose tinted specs.
minus a few individual errors we were pretty good overall.[/quote]
We lost !!! The overall matters not one bit !!

We actually played well, and should have scored more and conceded less.
There are a lot of questions to be asked why we gave away soft goals, but what I saw tonight didn’t fill me with fear for Saturday.
What? we actually played well – what game were you watching?

We were the better side first half.
The defending second half was schoolboy stuff. This was a must win game and sadly we weren’t capable of winning it and if we defend like that on Saturday we will get battered.
I would like to enjoy Wembley I don’t want another Cardiff.
I also don’t want us to get relegated but barring a major miracle I just can’t see us getting out of it now.
I hope I’m wrong.
