I wasn’t at the game yesterday as i was working  so have watched the game this morning on MOTD.
WTF was going on between mac arthur & boyce.
Di santo storming down the tunnel when being subbed & having to be dragged back literally by martinez to come back to the bench.
It was mentioned on MOTD the difference in attitude between the togetherness of QPR in comparison to the in house fighting at our club, which got me thinking & i pose the question;
Are those said players no longer interested in playing for wigan, & are just seeing out the remaining 10 games before fooking off,
was it just simply a bad day at the office & one of those days,
Or, was it simply a case of nerves playing at home again.
Like i said i wasn’t at the game so obviously have no idea how supportive the crowd was towards them.

FFS. This is the same set of players who hammered Reading last week and couldn’t have looked more of a unit.
Di Santo never likes coming off, and we played sh*te. It was a bad day at the office. Lets move on and concentrate on making it to Wembley.

It does look like we have contingents in the team. Did anyone else notice the order in which the team comes out – checked this on ESPNs coverage last night? Ali’s second as goalie’s always are – so taking him out its:
Scottish contingent – Sharner, Kone, south America contingent – Boycey
That does not look integrated at all.
fighting is always going to happen in a competitive male testosterone environment, it’s inevitable, but we need to stick together in the bad times on and off the pitch. Certainly the weekend left me with some worries.
As for getting to Wembley – lets just stay in the EPL first. We need to be up there this year when the money goes boom, otherwise getting back will be harder than ever.
3 March 2013 at 2:07 pm #104281If they didnt give a crap they would not be geting so worked up. It isnt great to see teamates at each others throat but it hardly shows that they dont care, a bit of frustration thats all.
I am glad Di Santo hates being subbed it shows that he wants to be on the pitch helping the club out. That said when a player gets taken off he should always (unless injured and getting treatment) sit on the bench to support the team.3 March 2013 at 2:51 pm #104284Boycey cares and has every right to react like that when sloppy play from young players is costing us.

3 March 2013 at 6:31 pm #104310Boycey cares and has every right to react like that when sloppy play from young players is costing us.i thought the problem was boyce, when caldwell knocked it back and saurez pounced boyce shud of been there and wasnt then realised he should of been,MacArther then critised him prompting the reaction
3 March 2013 at 9:03 pm #104322Didn’t Ramis criticize Boyce’s performance a while back resulting in a bit of a changing room spat ( Allegedly ) Boyce is quite simply too old and slow to be a wing back in my opinion !

It was a stupid to push him in the face whilst having a facial injury…
There seems too much falling out recently, didn’t Scharner have words with somebody against Southampton?
Ive said it before and i’ll say it again, Boyce is too old and Beusejour is too fat

Lets not turn this into a Boycey witch-hunt. James MaCarthur was guity of miss placed passes all afternoon, many of which put us under pressure. With Coutinho showing class it was silly not to be concentrating with him around – and James got caught doing that, putting others, including Boycey, under needless pressure. No wonder he reacted.
Facial injury yes, but that’s a solid mask, I’ve giving the benefit of the doubt to him and saying it was interfering with his vision. In which case why was he on?

3 March 2013 at 11:21 pm #104334Hows about stop using wing backs ! Sussed out by many now and not really paying dividends in my opinion !
3 March 2013 at 11:26 pm #104337Hows about stop using wing backs ! Sussed out by many now and not really paying dividends in my opinion !I don’t know, that didn’t seem to go very well for us yesterday.
I honestly don’t have the answer and I wont expect any formation to have the same sort of impact as the 3-4-3 did last season however lets not press those panic buttons yet we are still out of the relegation zone with three very winnable games in front of us in Newcastle, Norwich and QPR.
Possibly even an FA cup semi final to compliment them
