Hi All – I am running the Chester Marathon on Sunday 7th October for the road safety charity Brake, in memory of Tommy Berry, a great Latics stalwart who was tragically killed whilst out cycling earlier this year. If anyone would like to sponsor me, you can do so by the link below (which is in his daughter’s name), or I will be at the Everton game in Tommy’s old seat if you would like to donate in person. Tommy may be gone but definitely not forgotten.

you weren’t jokin about that last 6 miles…..but I survived, 26.2 miles done. Thanks for the sponsorship I got from some Latics supporters, I really appreciate it and I’m sure Tommy would have done too :)
Well done Liz!, goodpost I know how hard you worked getting yourself ready for this. It wasn’t just the 26 miles you managed this weekend it was all the miles getting prepared for it.
As you will know I had plenty of time for Tommy, a true gentleman and a Latics mon to the core. He will have enjoyed this weekend looking down on his team getting a good point against Everton, then shouting you and everyone on to the finishing line.
