      According to the WEP today, Ray Mathias has the best win rate of the Managers appointed by Dave Whelan.

      Paul Jewell was about fifth, but of course he had that horrible first season and the last 18 months in the Prem weren’t great.

        Interesting stat. ….Half time Blackpool 1 up…….If they win we hit a season low. ….and we deserve to be there. What a mess !!!

                If I were a Blackpool supporter I would have been proud of the balls they showed today especially to go 3-4 down with 9 men in stoppage time and to equalize 2 mins later.Unlike our feeble ,spineless efforts of late !!.

                      Always thought it was a bit rough on Mathias being sacked. If I remember correctly it was last games at Springfield wasn’t it?

                        Ray Mathias had 2 pretty good spells as manager and I thought he was treated harshly both times. But you have to say it was the right decision in the end, thats football.

                          are you serious ??, the bookies just love folk like you …. I pish myself eveytime I hear “Our season starts today !”.
