Because we are in bottom 3 and may well go down.
But also maybe….
Because we are shite at negotiating deals?
Because we really didn’t actually WANT to spend any money, and all the stories were a smokescreen to appease our fans?
Because we are skinflints, and make ourselves look like a ‘tin pot’ club?
Lack of funds and ambition. Happy to stay up each season and finish 17th?
Because we have the best squad we’ve had, didn’t you know? (That’s why we are where we are, and are now relying on a player we got rid of a couple of seasons ago to save us)
1 February 2013 at 5:10 pm #102240Broke the bank again. Why wont they come, money or martinez? Many players have said they love playing under Martinez (Maybe a litte bit OTT) but I do not think ANY of it comes down to Martinez.
I believe money will be the main factor, but also the clubs position in the league, attendances etc will all player a bigger part in it than Martinez himself, in my opinion.
P.s I don’t understand why you started a thread on this, it is obviously NOTHING to do with Martinez.

He started the thread because he wants people to leap to Martinez’s defence. It’s a wind-up, and the alter-ego of another poster.
As someone has suggested to me, this same person has 57 varieties of different usernames.

Don’t believe all you hear, I think you’re being too presumptuous. You could be mistaking me for Arky. Concentrate on fact.

I wouldn’t confuse you for Arky unless you drink mild.

I agree with all of that mate but do you not think that when we do sign somebody out side of prem ie a striker (who looks ffin magic on youtube) he sits on bench for 5 or 6 months plays about 20mins in that time and then we get rid. Manager or chairman ?

Aside from Standish’s reasons above they probably take one look on here and think fook that!

Manager or chairman ?If you’re talking about Boselli, it was his decision to leave. He couldn’t cope with the Premier League and didn’t like the UK.
The manager ultimately makes the decision of what happens to him.
If they are good/fit/enthusiastic enough, I’m pretty sure they’d be playing more regularly.
