Because to me he could’nt have played a worse team.NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME.Is he under orders or just plain thick…….He’s clearly not thick, and do you really think he is under orders?
Serious question: what team would you pick? (Am not judging – am just interested to know. Personally I’d have had Stam starting)
Me also regarding Stam and Boyce with Caldwell- formation change why?miss MOMOso much and WHY GOMEZ and Salmon!
I didn’t get the whole Boyce/Stam thing today. In that formation we rely on the wing backs to get the ball and deliver so why play Boyce there who is next to useless with the ball at his feet? He is still in my opinion our best centre half but Roberto obviously does not see his role there. I’m of the opinion that Roberto is in a wild panic and doesn’t have the necessary talent to arrest the slide.

If so the latter, I’d agree Stam’s a better fit but maybe he thinks he’s more solid defending? That said, the WB should be more about attacking in my book, so that would point to Stam also, would it not? Unless he wasn’t fully fit? But then he came on fairly early didn’t he which wold imply he was fit?
Anybody any answers to any of them? No? No, me neither. Have I?
Danny – not sure Roberto knows what a wild panic is. That is definitely not something you can accuse him of.
