Now, now.
We’ll have no balanced viewpoints on here!
8 May 2013 at 1:42 pm #112642To be fair to the Rugby they do get some large crowds when they play the likes of St Helens/Warrington any other time it can be quite poor, couple of weeks ago when they played Widnes they had less than 8’000 on for a super league game. our average attendance at the DW is around the 19’000 mark but that does include the away following. The attendance for the Widnes game was 11,904.
8 May 2013 at 1:48 pm #112645To be fair to the egg chasers, they have won a hell of a lot more silverware than the footy ! Watch the crowds drop if we go down ! All the arguments stem from the words of one man many moons ago and he isn’t anything to do with the club any more and so I say get on as one club because we will need all the extra income from our ground next season !

9 May 2013 at 10:18 pm #112984might be many moons ago,but the perpetrator of those vicious words, a certain Mr Maurice Lindsay will be at Wembley on saturdat to watch the team he was willing to kill off in 1987!

If you were there then you would of seen the south and west were just over half full, at best the east had 1200 and the north 500.
But if you want to believe there were 11,904 on then be my guest, by the way the moon isn’t made of cheese!
