A recent poster asked why there were no postings after a good result but stack after a bad result.

Yesterday the train was on time, the beer was good and the atmosphere crackin’ although still not quite as good as Oldham.

Good game and what a shame that one hit the post and that final minute header went over. We all worked hard, but the opposition have worked us out. we like to pass, to enjoy the build up and give then time to pack the defence with 7, leaving 3 up front for a quick break and counter attack. Perkins was MOM. Strong front line with Wildshoooooot, and Jordi and VuKick. Hard working midfield, with Power being his usual Powerfull self, and solid defence.

It was a crackin’ good day, just not quite good enough. In fact a bit disappointing! I remember in Prem days when we were always more interested in everyone elses results than our own. It’s beginning to feel the same! All the positives.

Perkins played well, Daniels & Pearce would run him close for MOM for me.
Thought Wabara had a good first half, under used in the second half though.

Gutted about not picking up 3 points, but good game none the less..
