dont know if you know my mate morcambe who sits next to me at the DW – he sufferes from voluntary tourette syndrome ;)
god knows what those southerners will make of him -i think we may be deported to the devon border by monday.

Quality, what lakes you thinking of using feeder rods on?… I don’t know why but I seemed to be jinxed with the method feeder!.. I tend to use PVA bags and PVA nets with a lead.
Don’t know your mate but hopefully you won’t get deported.. Most people there always seem friendly :)
Do you ever go the the quintrell pub/bar thing on the corner.. Went on one of the last days last time with the old man and was a really nice place. We went as it was just opening one day and the woman couldn’t do enough to make sure we were welcome.. would have gone a lot more had we have gone in earlier in the week! Only thing that got on my nerves was her scanning it ID making sure it was real..I was with my dad FFS! Anyway they did really nice fine ales and bitters too (BIG bonus as I don’t drink Lager).. Will be going a lot more on my next visit.

i will never set foot in there again i threatened the landlord actually
over easter if you remember we were live on tv against fulham and whiteacres dont have espn so the quintrell was the nearest and only place that i could find that had it on – well it didnt at first but the kind girl behind the bar put it on-anyway i had the kids in tow so i ordered and paid for some food for them so it didnt look bad kids being in a pub
when we went in they were clearing some plates from the room with the tv so i thought we were ok in there -anyway i heard this bloke come in to the bar and start going on about this rubbish being on the tv he turned out to be the landlord he then decided to change it to some music channel,
i explained we were watching it my kids even had their latics tops on ,he said we were not allowed in the pub with kids so i said we had ordered food ,he retorted well you have to sit in a back room to eat, with no tv either so i complained,
he then said to me tough but nobody wants to watch wigan s**t anyway so if i didnt like it leave ,and he wouldnt give me my money for the food back,my wife had to stop me decking the snotty get there and then, anyway we eventually got a refund and left, but i hope for is sake i dont ever bump into him.11 June 2010 at 3:00 am #36851buzzing for it – pole all set up and ready – 3 feeder rods done -2 method and a straight lead -and i have treated myself to a new pellet wagg rod – just set it up it feels quite good-all my hooks are tied i just have a few pole rigs to do and then tomorrow clean the van
