Just sent a message to ITV complaining of that Bong Bong fan.
Really disappointed on the comments that Adrian Childs made after the semi-final draw was made with regard to Wigan Athletic, The FA cup is regarded as the best football competition in the world due to the unpredictability of it, Wigan Athletic may not be the most fashionable in the land, but what they have done over the recent years should be respected and not dismissed as something that you would find on the bottom of your shoe. But it would seem that Mr Childs doesn’t want that, he seems to want only the big four (whoever they are now) to take part, perhaps he should sponsor his own competition with his favourite clubs, would his own beloved West Brom be in there.
Thought the whole coverage of Wigan was disrespectful and got the idea that they shouldn’t be there.I did the daybreak thing two seasons ago – and childs is certainly not pro Wigan in any sense. The guys’ a joke – and most fans treat his as such.
Good news is that since so much EPL funding now comes from Asia, they never see him and therefore get a better picture of us.
And for what it’s worth, I once complained to the bbc about Childs nd coverage of the Wigan v WBA game when we won 1-0 but watching their highlgihts I was sure we were going to lose. Six months later a response from them came – saying basically it’s down to the editor to cut a game they way he sees in line with the performance. I didn’t waste time even replying – just hope the guy who wrote lost his job in the move of the bbc to Manchester.
The guy on SPN Jim Muir is it? saying absolutely the same when he was talking to the Manager of Millbrawl. No disrespect to Wigan but….sam old shoite. We will never be a big club in their eyes but hey, do we really care? NOT ONE IOTA.
:)adrian chiles is everything that is wrong with modern day football….completely contradicted himself and the spirit of the fa cup……….early rounds he was all “magic of the cup” and all that….now wafc v rovers n m’wall are in semi, he dismisses us all…….he’ll be getting sacked soon anyway, hope he gets aids!
