Had a very solid game for Rep of Ireland tonight. Looked sharp and bright and seemed to have come out unscathed. :woohoo:
Getting great reviews from the Setanta Sports studio guests one of which is our very own ex player Kilbane. goodpost

He’ll probably get sold for good money in the January window, quality player, I reckon he could do a job at utd, and they need decent midfielders, exactly fergusons kind of player, you heard it here first.

All Wigan players will either be sold or they will leave on free transfers at some point to clubs as yet un-named. You heard it here first.

I thought McCarthy was solid without been spectacular. Very tidy in possession but I would like to see him get stuck in a bit more. I’d say he was minding himself with the weekend in mind. He did enough though and if he isn’t in the starting 11 for our first World Cup qualifier I’m going to start supporting England instead ;)

There was also a nice Latics connection at the Northern Ireland game last night. Manager Michael O’Neill brought his old Wigan buddy Roy Carroll back for his first international in 6 years.

I may be wrong but I thought I saw Pat McGibbon on the bench as well. :pinch:
