I haven’t said anything anti-Latics team, or Martinez that isn’t deserved. In fact, I can’t believe that you are even trying to defend them after yesterday.
And you make it such a personal thing, against ME. Yet, can I tell you something? On leaving the ground, immediately after the 4th goal (as many did) I spoke to a few people, including certain influential people off Mudhuts, as well as here, and they said the same thing “you can’t defend him after that”.So I don’t see why I am making a tool of myself, to be honest? I’m doing the old Roy Walker thing of “say what you see” and frankly, that yesterday, was the biggest pile of shyte I have ever had the misfortune to witness. I think your Bolton mate is taking the mick, to be honest. I’d sooner us be the worst team….and have won 4-0. Anybody with any ounce of sense would.
And as for nailed on penalties and decisions that didn’t go our way…..oh please! You can’t keep digging excuses out. 4-0 V Bolton? 4-0 V Portsmouth? Any coincidence, there? And according to you, we’ll beat Villa on Tuesday. Maybe we will, though I can’t see it. It is MY opinion, based on what I have seen. Did you not think Roberto’s post match comment that “maybe we were jaded acfter Monday” was a weak excuse? Because I did. And I know I’m not the only one. And as for your comment that our players looked comfortable on the ball? In my opinion, we looked nervous as anything. The only string of passes we put together was across the back 4.

Er, you’ve actually missed the fact that I hardly made a fuss out of us beating Liverpool. :o At one time, I would have been cockahoop? With this team? No. Funny how players can put in a great performance when they are in the shop window, eh? Oh yes, the majority of us can now see what’s going on. It’s more than apparent.
But then again, perhaps you didn’t WANT to see any of that? :?
Nor will I be on here bragging IF we beat Villa. I don’t really give two hoots. Fact is, we need to beat Burnley, Portsmouth, and Hull. Now I WILL be happy if we beat them. But at this time, I could see any of them coming and getting something.

I my friend, do not look for positives when there are none to be found. The old saying of “You can’t polish a turd” is more than appropriate with our team. The best thing Martinez has done, is to sign McCarthy and Moses. However, as a friend has just said to me “I’m glad he signed them…but I don’t think he’s the person to get the best out of them”. That’s someone elses opinion, not mine. I agree with it. So you see, I really think that you are now in the minority, rather than the majority.
I can’t believe you are trying to defend them after yesterday. Deluded.
