But today we should be travelling down to wembley in the JPT final.
Yeah it is a shame we aren’t on our way to Wembley the day after a 1 – 5 win. But I was getting a bit bored with Wembley. It was sort of tedious!!
At the start of the season Gary said “I have an idea”, but he never told us what it was. I have it from a good source that he decided early on to get out of all ‘extras’, FA, League and JPT. His rationale was 2 fold, to Concentrate on the job in hand and give others a chance of the experience.
He’s a good lad, even superman ….. give us a wave!!
Went home and had my tea with no regrets after going out to Gradely in that naff penalty shoot out.
Can understand getting excited if you have had Jack sh@@ to cheer about for decades like these two clubs.
The JPT trophy against a city more famous for rowing boats and producing tory toffs when you have been recently dining at the top table wouldn’t have cut it for me.
When you have recently dined at the ivy you don’t want to go back to the bus station baked potato cafe do you?
