A very good coach, just not a good manager. Just like John Benson was a good talent spotter. People malign because of how they did in a job that didn’t actually suit, rather than the contributions and commitment made to the club.
Swain doing very well currently coaching in the England Youth set-up.

how i hate people like you, if you havnt supported the team through bad times, you dont need to turn up, try telling that to a 10 year old, i think its time you grew up or fcuked off :roll:

So whats your point????? are you saying that anyone who didn’t go when Swain was in charge is not a proper fan??? or is it that anyone who dares to question how our club is run is not a proper fan??? or people who don’t go because they can’t afford to are not proper fans???
We need to make everyone welcome at the DW the more the merrier. It would be great to fill the ground every week and I don’t really care what there back ground is as long as they support the mighty Tics.
I think that truelatic is referring to another post where a WUM mentioned he had started to go watch Latics again when it looked like we may stay up. (To paraphrase)
I think it is also directed at these Utd/Liverpool/Everton etc. supporters who jumped on the Latics bandwagon when we got promoted then promptly did one back to their respective teams when it got a bit sh1tty & are now back again coz we won back to back games & Big Dave (C) & Roberto have mentioned previously about trying for Europe/Top Half finish, but will bugger off again if it looks like not going to plan again. :angry-soapbox:
