Are you saying that Boselli played in the same physical style as Davies? It’s ridiculous to even suggest it.

10 years ago he was a real good player. I believe he has been doing his coaching badges. I’d have him here tomorrow.

He has committed more fouls than any other Premier League player, but has also been subjected to a similar number.

You need all the experience you can get in the championship. He was Bolton’s captain and is a great leader. Just look at Kevin Phillips, He has almost single handedly got Palace up. Im very much warming to the Owen Coyle appointment. It’s a fresh start, What is the point in hanging him before a ball is kicked.

Just look at Kevin Phillips, He has almost single handedly got Palace up.

I think Murray’s 30 goals and Zaha’s creativity played a bigger part in their promotion for starters.

He did pop up with some vital goals but wheeling an old man out for 20 minutes at the end of the game is not the route I would like to see us go down.

Coyle’s team will be a lot more direct than Martinez but if he can get the balance right between keeping possession , utilising it well and sometimes knowing when it is worth a punt then I think there is enough creativity in the team to do well.

Add a steady defence and we should be on course for a decent season.

If he wants to start hitting long balls up for fun he will need to replace 90% of the squad IMO.
