I’ve just been reading about this, and had a quick look on Liverpool boards to see what they make of it.

This is how it works.Wouldn’t have been difficult getting into the Kop end tonight, and if ever there was a time where the press and the FA were staring down the barrel of an almighty **** up, and you needed to cause another **** storm to deflect from your bias, then this would be a perfect opportunity.”
They really are scraping the persecution/conspiracy theory barrel now.

You’re a bit gullible if you think that’s what happened.
The lad may well have over-reacted a bit but you’d have thought that with he spotlight on them as it is currently, the Scousers would have had the brains to keep their heads down a bit. Then again, maybe not.
7 January 2012 at 7:23 pm #77185Your just as gullible or believing it then. That could go either way.
