13 May 2018 at 8:14 pm #169141Here you goI recognise Barry Knowles, David Lowe, Roy Tunks, Alex Cribley and Andy Holden. Who’s that on the left behind Barry?
And why is Mike “keep it down!” Reid behind Andy Holden?

The player behind Barry Knowles looks like a tashless Phil Daley.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!13 May 2018 at 9:17 pm #169145Too early for Daley, who arrived in about 1990.
13 May 2018 at 9:28 pm #169147Then I’ll go for Chris Thompson, sadly passed away a few years back.

Very sad. Had problema with alcohol and died alone in a flat in Tipton. Was not seen for a week or two and I think it was his sister who raised the alarm.
He was a good midfielder, Chris. Made good runs through onside and scored a few goals. One of my dad’s favourite Latics players. -
