It could all depend on if we beat Chelski or not
2 May 2010 at 9:55 pm #31547cant see that happening but i couldnt see us beating chelsea liverpool or arsenal, lets make it a great last day of the season
2 May 2010 at 9:58 pm #31548Why would we need to beat them to decide where the title goes?
Last time i checked a draw would be enough for united to nip in and win it.
2 May 2010 at 10:06 pm #31550Does it annoy anyone else that everyone thinks we will be just pushed to the side and roll over for Chelsea. I’m not for one minute saying I expect we will go there and beat them but I think the ‘pundits’ should give us a bit more respect.

I’ve heard plenty say they don’t expect Chelsea to have too much trouble finding enough to beat us and how can you argue with that?

It will be quite interesting how we play as our players will be able to relax a little and try things out.
If we score first our forwards might thrive and find plenty of space – if Nzog is buzzing who knows?
2 May 2010 at 10:47 pm #31560As soon as the LFC v Chelsea game finished I sent my United supporting mate a text saying ………before you even ask , no there’s not a cat in hells chance !!!!
And I’m not even from the dark side.

It has been ‘implied’ then.
2 May 2010 at 11:04 pm #31562Should be more interesting now so looking 4ward to the day out.Wigan win Manure draw perfect day out , Yes i’ve been on the pop !

I’m not for one minute saying I expect we will go there and beat them but I think the ‘pundits’ should give us a bit more respect.Once again it would be nice for our “little” unfashionable team to stick two fingers up at the pundits and have the audacity to cause an upset in the destiny of the title. Afterall, we have drawn at Stamford bridge before !

3 May 2010 at 11:55 am #31579Ferguson thinks we can do it
3 May 2010 at 1:29 pm #31586Ferguson thinks we can do itA feeble attempt at mind games coming from a manager whose side beat us 10-0 over the 2 games this season ! ;)
3 May 2010 at 1:50 pm #31587interesting point made on wiganer.net about why we should do a favour for them after the 14th may 2007. would united not have pasted west ham if the title was in contention for them rather than let tevez run the show? we have jagielka to thank for giving us a penalty, if not we were gone.
it was a while ago and i don’t want chelsea to win the title but it is a significant point.
