Daft question but how come this fantastic event couldn’t have been played at New Springfield.
Unless it was a fabulous gesture from Ashton Town FC.

Mark, the chairman, is a big Latics mon.

I used to go with me old man, when I was little. Pint, pie, pop and crisp watching some good games, with some foul language! There would genuinely be me, my dad and 2 old blokes as the crowd. Not been for donkeys but they should get better crowds with Manor Park being next door. Shame it was off, was looking forward to it.
