In less than 24 hours our little club that I have watch go from Div 3 to PL, (some of the more seasoned of you will have watched us go from non-league to PL) will be walking out to the FA Cup final at Wembley!
Proud isn’t a big enough word!
my 1st game was 1973 i was six i keep pinching my self as how far our little club has come
Same here 1962 as a 9 year old cant believe we have come this far. All those milestones passed walking home from all saints and seeing the flood lights being built. Getting the vote on 2-6-78. First game in the league can go on and on. But nothing will beat seeing our little town team walking out for a fa cup final watched by millions around the world. Got goose bumps just thinking about it.
I know it’s only football but……. I feel scarily emotional about it all. It’s like my life was heading to this moment. Where’s my shrink ?
