Found this letter in a work colleagues echo the other day.
‘Everton are wide open to every counter attack. You cannot have only two midfielders, Barry & Mccarthy trying to control a game against three, four & even five. The team is evolving all right – but to a more expensive version of Wigan.’
Mmmmmm!
Another letter reads:
‘Im praying that saturday (meaning the recent liverpool game) is a close defeat because thats the best i think we can hope for… Im dreaming about a win but thats not going to happen until martinez sorts out our defending’
Mmmmmm! Really does sound familiar.
They might end up in the Bottom Four, but then who would add to a thread about Martinez? He’s not our manager and our fans have forgotten about him.
