we cant score and we cannot defend. We will pass until we lose the ball and I am afraid being realistic we will lose by 4 or even 5.
My heart says get up for it but I have done that to many times and I am now expecting a hammering as I am sure will happen.

Agree with you mate but i admire the optimists on here.
I cant see anything but a drubbing but the league is so poor that we probably still wont hit the bottom three this weekend.
Lets hope for a miracle!We get away with anything less than a 4-0 and we’ve done well.
As natdan said…all we seem to do at the moment is pass the ball around until we lose it. Nobody works themselves into a good positon and has a crack, N’Zogbia beats his man and then tries to beat him again rather than getting the ball in. Even if he did though there’d be no f*cker there on the end of it (which Valencia did on numerous occasions. notice the difference when he gets the ball in now)
The way we’re playing at the moment relegation is a cert imo
0-1 early on and let slip andother 3 in the last 15 minutes.
someone will blame the pitch saying its too flat and suits teams who have lots of quality like liverpool who enjoy passing the ball around.
but we wont play too badly and there will be positives to take from the game and build on – like a platform or something like that but we really must do better.
I would snatch the hand off anyone offering a draw at this stage. Then again, the V100’s will usually take a draw even when we are ahead. The concenus of opinion is that a 1-0 lead for Latics always needs a couple more goals to make it sustainable

A real disheartening drubbing, two early goals from the scousers, then torres, gerrard and Kuyt taken off, and 3 of their lessers players on, then Yossi Benayoun rocks in a last minute salt in the wound.
Win for us, I’m keeping optimistic today.Good lad.
Lets get it reet, Liverpool are not what they use to be, so hope Bob gives Moses a run at that defence & who knows what can happen :)
