Just watched their game tonight and they are awful.
Asgaard played in a flat midfield as a central midfielder and was just a passenger. They really were awful. Going down, I’m sure as they’ve gone bottom tonight.
Pointless move.
13 February 2025 at 5:36 pm #205075I always said Aasgaard would improve with far better players as he was the best player in a poor side.
I’m not sure Luton are at that level he needs to improve him as a player. It’s ashame really because at Wigan let’s face it, he grew up as a player with nothing but turmoil constantly raising its ugly head at Wigan.
Hughes is having a torrid time at Hull with an injury, he might be another down here next year. If Hull go down and they don’t unload some players on mid table Prem money that club will be a mirror image of us and Talal, no warning just the plugged pulled and no wages going in on the Friday.
But I hope Aasgaard luck changes as he fully deserves it. In his case money for me dictated his move nothing else.

21 February 2025 at 1:25 am #205121I watched Luton and Asgaard again last night and he had a bit of a shocker.
Luton fans were talking about him being poor as well, after the game. He’s being played as a flat central midfielder and it doesn’t suit him at all. Certainly not at Luton.
22 February 2025 at 11:53 am #205127I don’t think he was ready to move yet – yes he’s come on leaps and bounds with us the last 2 seasons in particular, but i don’t think he is a championship player, at least a starter – Although he’s been great for us, i was beginning to think he was getting a bit too big for his boots with us, and he thinks he’s better than what he is – just my thoughts.
22 February 2025 at 6:36 pm #205129Hells bells….someone who shares my sentiments. Top scorer and we will miss him but championship quality??? Not sure ……Draw today but come on.!!!.Isn’t the whole point of football being ball in net?? To be frank we are absolutely w### in that respect. Leagues lowest scorers!!…Shit to watch…entertainment virtually 0…..goal threat 0…..but seems to fit his philosophy so what do I know? …Well I know renewing season ticket and family fund seriously in doubt…..can’t stomach more of this entertainment vacuum…..but the clappers will be creaming themselves at the result. Roll on Huddersfield….another loss at home inevitable. .multiple changes….but today’s result will negate that in some supporters eyes……not mine!!!!

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
11 May 2025 at 10:54 am #205723Well if the rumours are true 2 clubs are already in for Aasgaard, it looks like he’s activated a relegation clause.
I hope we’ve got a 20%-25% sell-ons clause in place. It might bring in a million plus if we do
11 May 2025 at 4:13 pm #205724Won’t be happy bunny now Norway manager says he won’t be considered for international duty as long as he’s playing in league 1. Looks like he could be moving again soon.
12 May 2025 at 1:39 am #205725Did you watch him play in a struggling Luton side?, he performed on the whole pretty well considering Lutons position in the League. Unless your Maradona or Ronaldo there’s a maximum level you can perform at when your team m8’s aren’t up to it.
You only have to look back say 12 months and now. Physically he’s alot stronger and he’ll get stronger over the next 12 months. if he had of signed to a mid to top 6 side I’m sure he’d have stepped up to the plate and performed better.
Granted he’s not Prem but to say he’s not Championship is a tab harsh chaps. He’d out grown us when he left I just thought he’d have waited till the summer when there’d be far more options for him.
For him to leave in a Jan window to a struggling side he must have been offered some proper coin, no wonder Luton are getting shut. And I’ll tell you this, there’ll be at least another 15 going due to clauses and coin at Luton..
Luton will have to cut their cloth accordingly parachute or no parachute payments and I reckon they’ll struggle like fcuk as well
