Not seen any of the usual suspects coming on calling our following today…
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
27 January 2013 at 4:25 am #101339Bloody rubbish Wigan! There were empty seats in the Henshaw stand and the crowd was only 5,800 when the capacity is 6,300. :woohoo:
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!27 January 2013 at 1:17 pm #101342Tannoy did announce ‘with 2,300 visiting supporters’, great effort by everybody.
I wonder if we would do it more often should the tickets be £14 and £18.
I can feel the pain of LOTP and mutty who were probably wetting themselves in anticipation of being able to come on here and have a go….. sorry guys.

27 January 2013 at 2:09 pm #101344Not really. I knew you’d sold all your tickets a long time back. Well done on avoiding the potential banana skin, and I hope you get a good draw in the next round.
Now, Geography wasnt my strongest subject at school, but I’m sure Stoke is of a similar distance – whats the chances of 2300 travelling fans being there on Tuesday night?
27 January 2013 at 2:50 pm #101345I’d say quite slim (anorexic), because it is a Tuesday night, plus ticket prices are almost double (even though quite reasonable at £25).
I guess you’ll be back on on Tuesday night pointing it out anyway. But you will realise that it means nothing in the grand scale of things. The support we had yesterday did not mean we were going to win any more than if we only take 25 to Stoke.
Get over it…..

14 quid and a good chance of seeing us win
40plus quid and a good chance of seeing us lose.Yet we all prefer the latter. Funny old game

I’ll be there
27 January 2013 at 7:14 pm #101360Get over it…..I had, and had no intention of mentioning your away following at very local and cheap (£18) Macclesfield or very far away and expensive (£25) Stoke – it was you that started the “Look at me” thread.
One swallow doesnt make a summer. You had a good following. You’ll have a $hit following again on Tuesday.
Get over it. I have.

Using that theory, why did only 5000 of you show up for the game against Bournemeouth?

Judging by the fact you joined in, I would say you haven’t got over it. I laid the tiniest of baits and you couldn’t help yourself, your palms started sweating, your mind was doing somersaults. Everything was telling you not to go for it, but you couldn’t help yourself….. and I knew you would.
You’ll never get over it, it’s inbred into you to have a swipe at Latics on every opportunity and you were gutted that we didn’t present this one to you.

28 January 2013 at 1:09 am #101389Mate of mines an Everton fan and says you only took 700 to Goodison. Just found the proof. Seems a few of your fans are embarassed Mutty. Fancy a club your size and history (well for those of you that are in your 70s) having such pitiful away support!

You’ve had good away followings in your time. You’ve had a few shite ones too.
Get over it. We have!
28 January 2013 at 3:55 pm #101448It tells me that many are hankering for bygone days football !

I’m fairly new to this forum, so this post obviously begs the question…Who is muttywhitedog?

He’s a rugby fan who also professes to supporting Sunderland (despite also saying he used to attend Springfield Park on a regular basis)
