Watch what you say bronxbomber you will upset all the martinez Luvvies on here who think he is doing a great job ;)
5 December 2011 at 1:37 am #75548Look, I along with the MAJORITY of Latics fans think that Martinez has no idea and is way out of his depth. The same thing can be said for the rest of the coaching staff. This is my opinion. I realise that there are people who think he is doing a good job. All I want to know is, can you tell me why you think this way? Am I missing something? All I know is that over the last two and a half years we have gone from an OK team to the worst team in the League. Martinez can’t say that he hasn’t had time. He has got rid of the team he inherited and brought his own players in. On some of which, he has spent a LOT OF MONEY. Even the TV pundits can see his tactics are wrong The commentator on Saturday’s game even said “Wigan are 2-0 down surely they must change their tactics”. Last week on Gillette Soccer Saturday they were lampooning him saying that every time we lose he finds positives. Even they now realise that this tag of “THE BEST YOUNG MANAGER” was another of DW’s senior moments. I could go on for hours, but everything I can say has been said a hundred times before. I’ve had a bet that we will concede at least 20 goals before the end of the year. When, by then, I fear we will have been relegated in all but name only. I hope I’m wrong, but I still believe in Father Christmas. ;)
5 December 2011 at 2:11 am #75551One of the greatest flair players to grace the premiership David Ginola was a pundit/guest on the newcastle v chelsea game yesterday, and was asked about newcastle having the best defensive record in the premier league – the host was shocked by his reply which was,
“every football team has to build a strong defence above all other things” the host said “I think thats a little strange coming from a player like you who didn’t do much defending” Ginola replied ” without a good solid defence players like me are useless, sometimes you may get one chance to score in a game and if your defence has done its job it will win you the points”
Perhaps martinez should take note.
I forgot to add one of the world greatest footballers agreed with him, Ruud Gullit, but what do those two know compared to bobby ?
