I thought Gomez was bad, Beausejour again looked overweight and slow, Mcarther never got going and Boyce can play as a wing back.

Drop Gomez from the starting 11 and play maybe Maloney in his place and therefore take the pressure off a very very mediocre mid fielder !! I have been told so many times off a Scottish customer of mine that Maloney is half decent when fit and far better than the lazy Spanish geezer !! That info was justified today in my opinion !!

The very fact that you state Gomez had a better game than those two just shows how poor our midfield actually is !!
Thought Gomez played ok today. The weak area for me is where ever McCarthy is deployed.
How either him or mcCarthur can keep Diame out the starting 11.
