Gareth Southgate will be without Sterling, Jagielka and Johnson for the qualifier against Malta, but means Townsend and Keane come into the squad.
This and Slovenia are two games that we should win and I can’t see us not doing, but Southgate always makes me nervous even though I think he could prove to be a good England Manager… he just doesn’t seem to believe it himself.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

8 October 2016 at 1:17 am #151300I know England haven’t been great of late but these are matches (so was Iceland) that we should be winning comfortably.
Some say there are no easy International matches these days (bollox) so I will go for the following scorelines.
England 6 Malta 0
Slovenia 0 England 3Anything less than 6 points would not be acceptable against these teams, but the margins I have predicted may be a little bit tighter than I have said.
8 October 2016 at 1:37 am #151301Agree with Horc, if we dont win both games 3-0 and 3-0 then Southgate should be removed immediately!
Fuck the EFL
8 October 2016 at 1:41 am #151302Don’t give a shit. Unimportant. They have treated the loyal England fans with discontent over and over again. Leave the lot of them at home polishing the Ferrari’s and doing their hair and send twenty two lads from league one and the conference who would come back from Malta with a 6-0 win and be pissed off cos it was only six. We will not have a decent England side until we limit clubs to two players from outside England and we will never do that so feck the Greedy gets and the idiots that have made the rules for years.

Fuck the EFL
8 October 2016 at 2:12 am #151306Would rather watch a load of washing go round in a Launderette than watch those parasites.

8 October 2016 at 6:33 pm #151308Well Between the performances of the England national side and the ideas being put forward by the EFL it would make a saint turn into Victor Meldrew.
8 October 2016 at 7:36 pm #151309Well Between the performances of the England national side and the ideas being put forward by the EFL it would make a saint turn into Victor Meldrew.True enough, I stopped going to the England games after 2006 was a member until they disbanded it and it became team England.
8 October 2016 at 9:44 pm #151310At this point the english media will be clamouring for southgate to get the job on a permanent basis. & if he does, will be the first to want him sacked after a defeat to san marino.

If the eggs win tonight I will feel like jumping off Alston town hall screaming “I don’t bloody well believe it!”

Sorry Donny lad I didn’t realise you was in the North East, now that part of glorious England is enough to make anybody a manic depressive. God it is bleak up yonder. I work for the Geordie fookers and sometimes I feel like clodding myself in the Duggie. Why the flamin hell did you buy a van in that part of the country? Give me Riverside and the North West anyday.
9 October 2016 at 3:14 am #151313Well I don’t bloody well believe it. The eggs win the end of season knock out. Not really fair on Warrington as Wiggin play on a football ground and the end of season knock out was played on a football ground.
England did bring a little cheer though slaughtering mighty Malta 2-0. Brilliant victory considering Malta’s side consisted of a couple of donkey farmers, two bird trappers, four goat herders and a self employed sun bed restorer. That compared to poor England who only had forty or fifty multi millionaire Rolex wearing, Porsche driving full time professional playboys to choose from. Fab job Gareth.
All this going on and the big one to look forward to on Satdy against Burton Albion. Rumours are we are going for it and Gary is tinkering with a 5-5-0 and looking to have more possession more sideways and backwards passes but even less shots on target. Sounds just what everyone loves these days. The way forward. Burton players are preparing for Gary’s onslaught by bringing sleeping bags and knitting to sleep in and entertain themselves whilst combating this new improved approach.
Why the hell did Eden District Council plant those soft shrubs under Alston Town Hall. I don’t bloody well believe it. -
