I’ve just had an email off Ed Jones saying how wonderful Saturday was and how the players are really enjoying our turn outs.
He is going to ensure the players and manager mention it in their interviews before we play Man Utd. He says we simply need to keep that up and all will be well.Let’s go for it and show the players we will be there to give our all day or night, 365 days of the year for our football club.
5:30 on the corner between East and South Stands. Players approx 5:45 arrival. Let’s do our bit to excercise the ghost of not beating manure.
I remember ensuring survival with a 3-2 victory over Arsenal, what a way this would be to beat that.
Sorry Lawro, Wigan Athletic Don’t Do Relegation!

A new aspect to the Man Utd meet n greet is being supported by the Post and Observer as well as Sky TV.
Not only are we having the meet n greet starting at 5:30 on the 11th April, all fans will be encouraged to wear as much blue and white as possible.
We want to make inside the home ends a sea of blue and white with hats and shirts on whilst proudly waving scarves and flags.
Even if no Latics shirt, get everyone to wear blue no matter what that is.
Shocking the manure fans will be a bonus.3 April 2012 at 10:49 pm #84551Anonymous
Nice work, 90’s techno-style euro dance is always welcome in my eyes! Nice work with the meet ‘n’ greet too. Not sure how well the sea of blue and white will go though; it’s due to be bloody freezing by then and not to mention it is a night game. Anyone got a blue and white jacket? :P

Hopefully what we are doing for this game will ensure Wednesdays officials don’t go wrong. It’s said officials make these decisions out of fear of the backlash. Let’s make sure they are worried about the reaction they will get from 15,000 Wiganers with a cauldron of noise.

Time to make the final preparations with a walk around the market me thinks. £20 should get a few hundred balloons. B)
