Really good Pre-season friendly, very entertaining.
Josh Oakes is one of the 2 trialists that played and scored for Wigan and I have to say … he was brilliant.
There keeper was bloody rubbish, he would of put Vladamir to shame.
Attendance: 429 (thought it was 529 on the tannoy but there you go …
About 200/250 Wigan fans.

He played up-front for us in the 1st half but was effective in chasing bad balls from Marine and winning it back with ease.
Tom Oakes has just been given a 1 year deal after 2 weeks trial
He went up jock-land with Wigan under 18’s and got man of the match against Celtic and Dundee (so i am told) Celtic made enquires after game but were warned off
a local lad (for a change) one to look out for, tall, fast, striker and only 17

true it looked great first thing i noticed when walking onto the ground :D would be good to get the flags hanging of the stands like the vermin do on friday evenings ?

As I was going to the ground a few days ago there was a huge Wigan Warriors shirt all over the seats.It was bigger that ours :evil:
