Been to the match today and thought we played well. We should have been 2 0 up at half time but as usual did not take our chances. Second half we were on top again but the Martinez killed the game by taking Crusat off when he should have taken Rodellega off. Why people keep going on about him as a good striker is beyond me. To much favoritism for me. I thought we should have gone down last year, but this year if he stays we will deffinately go down. He should d the decent thing and Resign as Whelan wont sack him….. Cant blame Martinez for players missing chances but his tactics at times are awful, 1 up front going on for 2 and a half seasons at home is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s not Martinez’s fault our strikers can’t finish and he doesn’t have the money to sign one who can.
Do you blame Bobby for not going all out attack and going 4-4-2 with two genuine wingers? He would have left himself open on the break and potentially lost 4-0 as opposed to 2-0, I’m sure nobody would criticize a 4-0 defeat on here, never.

Yep, I agree, £6,000,000 pretty much wasted but think of all the millions gained through the sales of Valencia, Palacios, N’Zogbia… £6 million is such a small fraction and whilst it could have been invested more effectively; spending so little and such a large percentage of it on one player is risky and puts too much pressure on that one player being a success.
