Just watched Sir Bobby on MOTD2 and noticed at the end he called us Latics and not Wigan. How many other managers would refer to there team like that. It’s a name only the inner circle use.
The jury is still out until he refers to us as ‘Tics’ and starts slating the rugby incessantly. The initial signs are good though.

It’s a name only the inner circle use.good, i prefer latics. when one mentions wigan the whole old fashioned stereotype jumps into your mind,(flat cap,pitman,pies,wippet, pint of mild etc).
we are showcasing the town worldwide and not just in dewsbury and 2 states in Australia.
