Thought he was out injured until September but I see he played in the States last night.
That’s him sold before the end of August, then.
18 July 2013 at 2:21 am #117971I’ve watched Coyle’s interview after the friendly last night and he insists that nobody else is leaving the club. He mentions that the lads who played a part in last season’s relegation, are keen to help us bounce back.[wish Bobby had the same sentiments]
He talked about two deals that are very close to being concluded, but didn’t want to reveal who they are until they had penned a deal.
He went on to say that there are another two players who he hopes to have in ready for the 3rd August. :ohmy:I know managers have to say the right things, especially when they first join a club, but he seems very confident over these targets and has won me over fairly quickly in how he has conducted himself and not stood on ceremony waiting for things to happen. . :cheer:

What a journey!18 July 2013 at 2:28 am #117972Can’t in all honesty see McCarthy still being here come September. I too have been impressed with Coyle, but I don’t believe any of them when it comes to transfer talk.
They all play the game. I believe a transfer has happened (in or out) when I see the player wearing his new club shirt.
18 July 2013 at 2:34 am #117973And let’s hope nobody savages Coyle if somebody else does leave Wigan.
18 July 2013 at 2:37 am #117974I thought macca was deffo on his way a few weeks back, but believe he will stay now.
The club rightly so are looking for between £15-20 million and the majority of the so called “interested clubs” are picking up other players, namely Liverpool and Spurs.
If Felini and Baines leave Everton, there may be a possibility that Martinez will come sniffing, but £15 -20 million? me thinks he’ll look elsewhere, possibly Spain.
I can see Coyle offering Macca another deal and if he turns it down, he will look to offload him in January. B)

What a journey!18 July 2013 at 2:53 am #117975Callum only became a first team regular around christmas time, so hopefully if he
Is sensible he may think the right thing to do is to get a full season behind him.
(Although ive no doubt his agent thinks otherwise)I thought mcarthy was a gonna, but spurs bought paulinho so that looks dead, wouldnt
think everton could afford him.Maloney is the key for me…i think we have plenty of quality in midfield, and could cope
Without mcarthy, but maloney is the link, the creativity in the team.Keep him, we will have the best player in the championsip.

I said I thought he would stay. It’s completely different to what you made up but we know how you struggle with the england language.

but we knew what you meant ;)The “I” in its should have been in capitals and a ‘ after the t. England and English should have been capitalised.
A comma would have been nice after griff [probably a capital G] and a full stop after the word “meant”, but we know what you meant. B)From Matlock to ManU
