Just reading through the Daily Express (not my newspaper) and this tool has a massive pop at us titled “Shame on You Wigan” – he finishes his piece saying Wigan do not deserve a football team :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:
was article about saturdays crowd by any chance? if so did he also say that torquay dont deserve a team seeing they had less han us on?

It was – he also mentions that Wigan “attract” a disgraceful 18,463 in the premiership……I take it he does not mention us being one of the youngest teams in football league with historic near neighbours in Manchester, Liverpool and Lancashire that half of Wigan already support from way back?
Take one poor lazy journalist , an easy target and that’s the obvious result. If that’s the quality in the Express nowadays , no wonder nobody buys the thing !!!
That’s why the ” lets get back to the lower leagues ” brigade are so wrong. W*****s like Dennis make me want to stay in this league for many years to come. :evil:
this tosser mick dennis is a norwich city fan,and like leeds fans or forest fans think it is their god given right to be in the premiership above small teams like us,
his beloved norwich has 3 more teams competing for crowds in east anglia
ipswich 44 miles away,cambridge 65 miles away and peterborough 75 miles away,and the population of norwich is double that of wigan,without the massive catchment area also to draw on,yet they are only second to ipswich in size,and as far as i know they have only ever managed crowds in the mid 20 k range.
