Ben Watson my man of the match today
Is this the same Ben Watson everyone was slating when he first came?
See what can happen if you have a bit of patience.
He was class todayBen Watson for me as well, absolutely superb today….good performances by all the team, special mentions to for Gohouri and Diame and of course Moses when he came on
Mine would be the same as it has been for many games this season, Titus Bramble.
Special word too for Chris Kirkland. Made a great save shortly after the second Arsenal goal went in.Are these the same players that people on this board have been slating recently? Just shows you what a good performance can do for morale.
There have been plenty of good performances, it is just like people see results as a performances instead when we lose.
All of you, see what happens wen you get behind the team, look what happened in the last 15 minutes today – not only did we come back, we won, it was awesome.
Diame for me. Considering he got booked early doors he didn’t let it bother him one iota. If hes still here next season i will be amazed. My player of the season as well although if Charlie hadn’t become a one trick pony over the last couple of months it would have been him.

I’d like to see Watson given a go somewhere. Maybe Watson, Diame and McCarthy in midfield (presuming we are retaining the same formation) with all three of them told that it is perfectly OK to go beyond the half-way line and support the attack, rather than play a 6-4 formation.

Hard choice!
I actually thought Mario had his best game for a long time yesterday, Gohouri and Bramble did well for the most part and Figueroa was pretty good as usual.
Moreno ran his socks off until he was taken off and what a substitution it was, Moses made the difference and credit to Roberto, he obviously saw what was needed and showed a lot of faith in the young lad against a strong side.
N’Zogbia and Hugo looked dangerous all game but for me, the 3 midfielders were immense. Diame and Diaby are very similar players and both played well in a tight midfield battle but for me, Watson was the man of the match, especially when he hasn’t featured for 99% of the season.
Well done to the whole team though, we had more than 1 man of the match yesterday!

i have had him on my shirt all season, and have had funny looks but the arsenal match proved why i had him on the back!
i dont no why on earth martinez let him go, 5 year contract completly agree!!! :D
Watson is a good player, he gets in scoring positions and he’s good with the ball at his feet.
N’Zog gets my man of the match because he was very positive, really confident going forward and scored the winning goal. Its a very tough call though.
