Too many of the England team are just not good enough. Johnson,Lescott,Carrick,Cleverley,Milner and Young wouldn’t get in our team.

Dangerous in which sense standish? I honestly fail to see the attraction…! He has flashes of ‘alrightness’ about him but just frustrates me that he is a soft touch and never seems in control of the ball.

Dangerous in that he can beat a man and has pace. There was no other player in that England team tonight who will take a man on and try to get past him.

Walcott does it, as does Lennon when he’s in the team.
