Another pub to be flatened.to make way for a nurseing home. has any one else heard owt about this? some boozers have gone this year.it wernt a million miles from the ground for both the Tics and our lodgers did it ever get busy on match day?

there was nowt wrong wit monty it was a proper local with some real caracters in it was a regular in there 25yrs ago a proper mans pub,pity there arnt more pubs like that today instead of all these with bits of kids in who want to fight the world when theyve sniffed an ice cude with larger on it

I hate it when you go into a pub and it’s blaitantly obvious that the people are in there are after a fight because they have had a drink. I am probably the same age as the people you are talking about but am most certainly not one of them.
mentioned in the same way as King Billy at platt waz and the crooked wheel at Worsley Mesnes.The pub game is going rapidly finished off by the all night licensing laws and the ridiculous rents and taxes.
