I would snatch their hand off for £15 M especially if we arnt gonna play him as a striker. Would want to get his replacement plus another in before we let him go though
I can’t see the relatively stingy Arsene Wenger bidding £15mill for a player who is gonna be at best 3rd & at worst 4th choice striker for them behind Van Persie, Chamakawotsit & Bendtner.
If he is prepared to spend £15mill on Rodallega then I think he’s taken leave of his senses as he isn’t worth anything near that – even as a striker as opposed to Bobby’s preference for sticking him on the wing

Cant really say that though, You can only work with what you have. If we had not of signed Rodders we could have signed another striker who may have scored 25 goals. Tha just never knows

Just been reading, Hill-Wood has stated that if they do sell Fabregas then Wenger will get all the cash to spend so it could be a distinct possibility this story.

I’d bite your hand off for £15m for Hugo though, he’s probably only worth as much as we bought him for if you ask me. Scored important goals for us, but playing for Arsenal – really?! his first touch is nothing short of heavy and he squanders a lot more chances than he converts.
If we shifted him for that amount I’d like to see us bring in about 2 better strikers with the money. :roll:
£15mil is very good. A swap with Vela would be a good option too.
I think, trying to be realistic 5m and Vela would be a good and fair deal.
Being even more realistic, I think Vela would reject us and would more than likely opt for a move to Spain so 15m it is then.
Martin o’ Neill is ready to battle it out with Arsenal to sign Hugo for £10.million Villa Manager was close to signing serbia’s striker Nikola Zigic.but has lost out to Birmingham City.hands rubbin times for Mr Whelan. at that price cant see us saying no.
