had a bigger gate than Blackpool yesterday.
How often has that happened in the past fifty years ?9 October 2016 at 10:01 pm #151328had a bigger gate than Blackpool yesterday.
How often has that happened in the past fifty years ?Fleetwoods average gate this season is only 500 less than Blackpools.
There is real turmoil at Blackpool, if they could rid themselves of the Oystons, the fans that are boycotting the club would return.9 October 2016 at 10:04 pm #151329The way things are going there won’t be a Blackpool FC in 10 years time, fair play to the fans in their quest to oust the Oystens!
Fuck the EFL
9 October 2016 at 10:42 pm #151331Can’t understand why Oysten hasn’t sold up yet because he must be the most hated football chairman in England. No prem money anymore so he can’t be coining it in. Wouldn’t any normal person say enough is enough and move on?
10 October 2016 at 12:17 am #151332Probably n. ever ever happened and wouldn’t have happened yesterday if it wasn’t for the away support. However BFC is a shambles but a very wealthy shambles with money in the bank. Remember The Oyston family re-built Bloomfield and took the club from the lower league to The Greed League. Fans were loving it then. Trouble is they refused to re=invest and the club have plummeted back down again. Fans are boycotting but is this just an excuse not to go now they are shit again. 2500 home fans there yesterday so not many are boycotting because the Donkey Lashers wouldn’t attract that many more in mid table league two anyway.
10 October 2016 at 1:51 pm #151335The Blackpool fans I spoke said he is planning on running the team into the ground then using the stadium land to build on when he succeeds….
Hope they can get him out, but worry he is going to do what they say

I think 99% of Latics fans appreciate what Dave Whelan has done for WAFC, the other 1% live in cloud cuckoo land if they think we would have achieved a tenth of the success we have if it hadn’t been for him.
Yes, he has frustrated us from time to time, but he has been there and is still there to a certain extent when needed. Young Sharpie has learn’t from him and will hopefully keep us heading in the right direction for years to come.
