I noticed they didnt play it today after our goals went in and it was wonderful to cheer the goals naturally without that cr@p snark music booming out.
Hated it with a passion from day on and i always thought it fired up the opposing team and supporters.
I wasnt at the Stoke game due to holidays and missed Kones goal against Dulham.
#Was it played after the goals at those games?7 October 2012 at 1:34 am #94653I too noticed the music wasnt played – shame really as I enjoyed it, but the club must have its reasons
Word of warning Vince you shouldnt really say you missed a match due to ‘holiday’ as you wont be deemed to be a real fan on here
And if you missed the Kone goal v Fulham one can only assume you left early – cut your own throat there really re the real fan brigade

#Was it played after the goals at those games? That was the first game this season where it hasn’t been played and long may it continue. It was great to be able to celebrate without that embarrassing, naff, cringeworth crap drowning out the natural and spontaneous reaction to a goal.

Hated that music from day one-utterly embarassing, patronising and ruined goal celebrations.I used to stop clapping when it came on and im sure it fired up the opposing team as it was a form of p/ss taking in my view.8 October 2012 at 1:08 am #94696I didn’t even notice but my 9yr old son asked why are they not playing the music when we score!! i’ve never been a lover but he loves it.. Quite like watching them doing the jig as they get a real kick out of it…
if it keeps the future generation happy….8 October 2012 at 1:49 am #94698I didn’t even notice but my 9yr old son asked why are they not playing the music when we score!! i’ve never been a lover but he loves it.. Quite like watching them doing the jig as they get a real kick out of it…
if it keeps the future generation happy….Of course he does, he’s nine. Kids like naff things when they are nine. And is he likely to say I don’t want to go watching Latics anymore because they don’t play music after we score?
8 October 2012 at 2:01 am #94700If he ever said that then he wouldn’t be a true tic in the making…
8 October 2012 at 2:38 am #94702I’m very annoyed they have stopped the music it gives me great joy to see my wife and kids jigging when we score my kids were sick when the music didn’t come on I will be speaking to my contact this week to see what’s going on here bring it back now I say
