perhaps this as been posted before but i have just read it.

I think its called begrudging respect for what the club has achieved despite no-one liking or caring about us either inside or outside of Wigan
Its a bit patronising in parts but also acknowledges the godo bits we’ve had too
Some of their info is a little wayward mind:
“From Northern leagues to premier league in 10 years” – I wasn’t aware that Div4, div3, league 2 was a league purely for northern teams!!
and i wouldn’t exactly say that the club’s “pre-Xmas fat reserves kept us from the grubby paws of the bottom 3” considering we finished 10thWigmon – I think the Israeli death threats to Zaki came when he turned down a move to Pompey last season on the grounds that the club was “too jewish”- and he went into quite an in-depth rant about it too

The sort of thing that it’s OK for a Wigan fan to say, but not anyone else.
A bit like it’s OK for you to say your sister’s an ugly old slapper, but not for anyone else to say it.
