Bang on. Leneghan has given the rugby fans the right to hold their heads up again after a decade of mismanagement by Whelan & Lindsay. If anyone can persuade some of the rugby fans to turn up for a Latics’ game (and more importantly pay for their ticket) its him.
Maybe because once the Omani’s have bought into Wigan, they want their National Side players to get experience in UK football, therefore meaning we have to play a set number of them.
Not that long ago Dave was supposed to have been handing the ground ownership over to Latics.
After all we owe him nowt money wise because whtever Dave has put in to Latics financially he as taken out in prestiege ,advertising and marketing from his other interests.

His defence if it went tits up would be the Premier Leagues fit and proper owners study did not work eg Portsmouth.
