3 – 1 Power, Wabara, Grigg and Wildshoooooot or as the some like to call him, WildsCute.
And a fans protest of a half time walk out fed up that there is no is no half time ‘Goal Shoooot’.
On fans protests …good on Liverpool and Leicester fans, its about time us fans stated our objections. Without us ….. and all that. But it always hacked me off that ticket prices weren’t reciprocal …Arsenal pay £27 at Wigan and Wigan pay £60 odd at Arsenal, and then the FA wonder why Wigan had such a small away following. Little wonder we are taking 800+ to most away games.
Oh, just as an aside it’s my 60th so I am expecting a generous dose of goals, all of which I will assume are presents for me.
Well Rich I reckon your birthday tipple could taste good tonight. This is one where The Latics will definitely get a result. Our Latics will win 4-1 in front of 9,176. Grigg 2 Pearce 1 and Power 1 depending if they play or not.
I work with a couple of Oldham supporters and they say that since Sheriden was appointed they have showed some backbone .They reckon they are at least showing some stomach for a fight which is probably due to the manager being a feisty character when he played.They have gone down to a couple of 1-0 defeats and a 1 -0 win since he was put in charge so like the Crewe game I think we can’t underestimate them and ignore their league position and they seem to have improved defensively so 2-0 win for me.
New pitch cost us a goal when the Everton Mon missed that sitter but saved us after their mon did the same. Dangerous to play on that pitch. Probably after a dry week it may have been better playing on the old surface.
