Tickets for Newcastle fans have now gone on general sale. Allocation is 4800. Does anyone know why they don’t get the full 5400ish allocation?

2 December 2016 at 4:42 pm #152790Not really. It’s the other way round.
It can be used to provide a “sterile area” to keep fans away from the gates, so they can’t rush the pitch, but once in place can be sold as advertising space2 December 2016 at 8:08 pm #152791Tickets for Newcastle fans have now gone on general sale. Haha, yes, it’s numbered the other way round in the East Stand…it’s my age
2 December 2016 at 10:11 pm #152795No need for netting. No need for no man’s land in a dedicated stand. Potential loss in revenue of around £20,000 if they could sell them all.
Three years ago Bolton and Burnley were given full stands. What’s happened since then?
No man’s land is ridiculous in the East stand too. -
