I am surprised that there is no stupid talk of England winning the next World Cup after beating the worst Brazilian side that I have ever seen in my life ! Even though I will be on Germany at 8-1 to win it outright, I will be having a cheeky tenner on Argentina at 5-1 because I have a hunch that the icing on the cake for Messi is being whisked as we speak ! :)
The only stupid talk comes from the media who get the fans hopes up so much that when the inevitable happens and we are slung out on penelties as usual in the quater finals there is a national out cry on the phone ins of talkshyte and fivelive
anyway cant see the England team winning anything in my lifetime to many foreigners in the prem and average ones at that keeping the English talent out of the gameI thought we played well but we were lucky in one sense to get a draw. How did Neymar miss that open net….. maybe we should be talking about this miss on another post (match fixing)

I will stupidly be carrying on my tradition of placing at least £100 on Holland (Netherlands) to win the world cup (As I do with the Euros also)).
The tradition started many years ago (Before I was old enough to bet) ;)
Like every year they will probably play good football and fail to win (sound familiar?) but I cannot stop this bet from happening. I love the football they play when they play well and have some of my favourite players aswell. The fact that I would be distraught if I didn’t place the bet and they actually won plays a part in me continuing this bet. ;)

I’d rather use the £100 on a cheap flight to the ‘Dam and waste the rest of it smoking some hash in a ‘coffee shop’. :lol:
