Today, well over the past week or so, we’ve had LaticsMainMon and his shennanigins. I’d like to believe he was a 15 year old school kid who knows no better, but some of his comments and wording have been frighteningly more ‘mature’, if his overall contribution hasn’t.
That’s frightening.
What would someone old enough to know better actually gain from what he’s been doing and posting?
And so I asked him what was his age….and someone else pipes up with “Grooming Alert!”FFS, I’ve tried to defend this site to certain people from other sites over the course of the last week. They have it down as being full of t*ts who know nothing. I tried to defend CockneyLatic, as it’s not the admins fault.
But good god, has this messageboard gone downhill. Badly. The only thing I can suggest to Jay and John is that they make it harder to register, and so it will prevent the multi-posters and idiots who have nothing sensible to contribute. Maybe even charge everybody a fiver to register or something, and stick the money in a pot for a quiz prize or an end of season buffet. It would stop the schoolies coming on here, as they’d struggle to pay without a bank card. (I assume most don’t have one?) If people are so sad they still keep re-registering, then it’s gonna cost them £5 each time.
Summat needs to be done. Make it a bit of a ‘clique’ if need be. Quality over quantity. The backbone of decent posters on here is good. It’s the wasters who contribute nothing, such as LaticsMainMon (What’s his game?) who are spoiling it. I’ve noticed that the regular posters are not bothering as much.

Got to agree apart from the £5 bit
he as been banned but that means nothing because he will re register.
i came on here this week and posted a few things in non football and came back next day and then the nonsence started.it kind of reminded of the reason why i do not bother so much any more.i thought it had improved from the bad old days of rivals.it seemed allright at 1st and i dipped my toes in but last week as made me think i wont bother.it must be bad because my brother as not even been on and he allways used to be on as i still read things even though i did not post.same style as latics mainmon as well

This has always been a free site and so charging is out of the question.

We do care Vat, I have only just read your post as I don’t come on anything like as often these days for the very reasons you state.
I’ve not been on for a while, tralled most of the threads this morning and just don’t know what to say, most threads don’t warrant any reply. I honestly feal sorry for Jayt and John and others who help run the site, I think i would have given up long ago if I was them, so more power to you all for not doing. It’s about time people showed a bit of respect to them. It is also annoying for the propper posters on here and there are more propper posters than wind ups like LMM but when there spouting crap on every single thread you just can’t win, or just can’t be bothered arguing over a keyboard with someone who either hasn’t started puberty yet or is just so insecure with himself and realy has fck all else to do, No missus, no mates, no hobby, no life so he gets his kicks insulting people on a mesage board that he would have been welcome to use had he treated people with respect, you never know he might even have learned how to interact with people socialy without giving it the big one and maybe even made some mates and got some pride back in his life. Sad 2hat.
Thats the last i willsay on the matter, glad he’s banned. :DI’m still here Jeff but most threads usually descend into a bickerfest between the usual suspects so not worth contributing as by the time I have seen thread it has digressed completely from the original ! I will continue to add my witty replies where I feel fit as I like to think I can add a bit of humour now and again as well as the odd rant when we under perform !
