The final of a minority sport played across the length of the M62 wont make most national papers. But I thought Latics were a world-wide household name after their premiership and FA Cup exploits.
Even I thought that you’d get more than 3 months publicity in the press before you were not even considered important enough to wrap a bag of chips!

The New York Yankees are a worldwide name, but an ordinary run-of-the-mill game gets no publicity over here.
So why should a Latics game against Doncaster be reported there?
