Though I haven’t bought this for years, I find it amazing that sales have dropped from 2,000,000 to just 8,000 for the oldest comic. It looks like the owners are going to pull the plug on it as well…..

I grew up reading Dandy and Beano. Good, harmless, innocent fun……
….and there lies the problem.
Kids these days know too much too soon. They only need turn a TV on or look at a computer and the vulgarity and crassness of the modern world in which we live is thrust in their faces.
Kids are playing video games that have killing or maiming in it. Tales of Desperate Dan and his ‘cow pie’ habit are not going to fulfil their sensationalist driven minds. Unfortunately.
