This lad is a different class to what were used to here at Wigan, I for one am praying that nobody comes in for him and that he doesnt leave.
On the other hand I think if somebody offers £10m for Rodallega that we shuld let him go providing we can find a replacement, Good player and everything but I dont think he’s worth £10m.Oh and Hendry Thomas is thick, could have cost us points there, You could see he was aiming to chop somebody down after he’d ran past the 1st guy. it was obvious he was gunna get sent off.
16 January 2010 at 8:20 pm #18492N’Zogbia was absolutely immense today, he is twice as good as Valencia was and thats being generous to Valencia.
We should keep hold of Hugo for sure, who would we replace him with? we need to start holding on to our best players, we need to stop being bullied by the bigger boys and have a go.
Made my day that today because I will admit I had a bad feeling about the result today and pictured us in the drop zone and all the doom and gloomers spouting the same old s..t again. Well done lads.
As for Thomas, now that was well and truly stupid, wtf was he thinking?
Caldwell and Mcarthy did well Mcarthy is going to be a good un quality finish for his goal.

I completely agree about N’zogbia being better than Valencia but most peple on here wouldn’t because he plays for man utd now, N’zogbia is by far the better player. i dont know what Thomas was thinking but it was stupid, I dont think he warrants a place in the team anyway. McCarthy looks good, really slow but will be a good un, good blocking off technique by Webb aswell haha. Caldwell also looked solid.
16 January 2010 at 8:43 pm #18495Superb blocking off by Webb haha. The commentator on fox made me laugh “I cant understand the mindset of wigan, they have an extra man but have no options going forward” two minutes later, bang, 1-0. Love it.

Love it.haha he did kind of have a point when he said it though, we still had everybody behind the ball. proved em rong though, We need a striker, definately. Webb played well today, also didn’t getmany decisions wrong, and I have to say he got the Thomas decision spot-on aswell, wrekless and idiotic. :x
16 January 2010 at 11:00 pm #18515“good un”
“haha”
Give me strength!

Their fullback will be having nightmares tonight !Are there any more barcode rejects that we help to re-build their careers ?
17 January 2010 at 12:11 am #18519Never mind watching it on the tele. Those that were there would have to say that hugo was different class all afternoon. Never stopped running, creating chances and threatening all day. Nzogbia was great second half but pretty woeful first half (bit like United away) and has a long way to go to be a better all round player than Valencia.

My main ‘travelling companion’ has just become a father for the second time, and to be honest, I can think of nicer places to drive to on a Saturday afternoon than ‘Loverlee Wolverhamperton’
Tried to watch online, but the link was up and down.
How did McCarthy do in general? I’ve a feeling this lad is going to be a very good player.

He was outstanding, JamesC thinks he’s slow for some reason, maybe he can explain???? but in my opinion he’s got it all. -
