he cant take a throw in,and certainly not top of list to win a header. They can have him.

      John chapter 8 verse 7

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her

so no one spouting against n’zogbia has ever changed jobs for more money then?
face it he joined us for more money so why fret when he wants to leave for more money.

what by saying he wants to leave and asking a prospective employer for more money ?

i stick to my first statement – about casting stones by those who have never changed jobs for a pay increase.

when you play with fire it has a nasty habit of burning you and our policy on telling new players -“sign for us and we will develop you and move you onto better things”is perhaps striking the matches to say the least.

for eg valencia, palacios, baines, heskey didnt see, hear these players instigateing there own moves causeing unrest within the club,do you honestly think if whelan offerd this judas scum bag another 10,000 a week he would stay NOT A CHANCE. he was playing for the geordies poss on more cash than he his here, but they off loaded him because of the disruptive judas scum bag he his.He won player of the season the season before he left the toon (may be wrong) then fell out with the manager and players and toon fans came on here and warned us about him

Spot on that LMB… I would have liked him to show some loyalty for bringing out the talent he has always had but him wanting to go is hardly shatting on us.

Can I ask those on here who are lambasting N’Zogbia for putting in a transfer request whether they did the same when McCulloch tried to force through a move to Rangers in the January transfer window before he eventually left?

My recollections of that are McCulloch freely admitting he kicked up a right stink in order to try & get Jewell to let him go and when the transfer window closed he even gave an interview stating he’d wanted to leave, was gutted Latics wouldn’t let him go but he just had to accept things and would now “start” to give his all for Latics (I always took that to be that during the transfer window he hadn’t been

I seem to recall at the time McCulloch getting barely any stick on here in fact it was the opposite with people praising his previous contributions & saying who wouldn’t want to join their boyhood club. No accusations of being disloyal, no accusations of being a judas or scum. At the time I likened it to being worse than Chimbonda’s actions

Bar the timing of both Chimbonda’s and N’Zogbia’s transfer requests I don’t have any particular problem with what either of them did because, as LMB has pointed out, we’ve all left jobs at the drop of a hat for better paid ones. But that is all they did – said they wanted to move. Chimbonda never came out & started saying in the press stating that he wanted to go to club x & Latics should let him go. Neither has N’Zogbia where rumours of storming out of training & going on strike have been denied by the club & so remain just that – rumours

Should Bobby decide to pick N’Zogbia again he’ll have done so cause he believes its the right thing to do & I’ve no problem with N’Zogbia wanting to go anywhere for more money as long as when he steps out on to the pitch in a Latics shirt he gives his all

I think this whole issue of fans expecting loyalty from players is a ridiculous notion, especially in modern day football where money seems to be the be all and end all.

It never bothers me at all when a player moves on, nor a manager for that matter. Players – and managers – come and go, but the club continues.

As you say, all we really can ask is that the players give their all when they do play for Latics.

Tyldesley, I think the lack of reaction to McCulloch’s statement of intent was he had given a few years of good service to Wigan, wanted to join the club he had supported all his life, and who were playing European football, plus, he was moving back to where all his family lived.

Chimbonda had done a season, and was going to the highest bidder, and N’Zobgia likewise after a season and a half.

Let’s pretend you’re a footballer. If you played for Falkirk for a few seasons, and Wigan had qualified for Europe and said they wanted to sign you, would you not be hell-bend to sign for Wigan? That’s what happened with McCulloch.
